Workshops
All programs are correlated with the FCAT Sunshine State Standards and the National Science Education Standards. Most are conducted using inquiry based learning. Teachers who participate in these workshops are engaged in the activities and from the first minute to the last, they are involved in experimentation, discussion, and reflection. The instructors model inquiry based pedagogy by asking questions, uncovering material, and encouraging deep thought so that the teachers not only have a set of new lessons that can be immediately implemented in their classes, but also understand HOW and WHY inquiry should be implemented to increase student learning.
